# Usage object

Usage shows how many documents a business used in the current monthly period, and its two limits:
how many documents it may use in the period, and how far back Lazy scans its email. Your contract
with Lazy sets the starting limits. You can raise them for one business with
[Top up documents](https://developers.lazyinvoice.co.il/embedded/api/usage/top-up/) and
[Extend the scan period](https://developers.lazyinvoice.co.il/embedded/api/usage/scan-period/).

## Fields

| Name | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `reset_at` | timestamp | When the current monthly usage period started. |
| `used_docs` | integer | Documents processed since `reset_at`. |
| `max_docs` | integer | Documents allowed in the current period, top-ups included. -1 means unlimited. |
| `max_email_scan_days` | integer | How many days back Lazy scans the business's email. -1 means unlimited. |
