# Business object

A business is a tenant inside Lazy: one of your customers. Lazy gives it a `biz_id`, which every
request about the business uses in its path. You give it an `external_id`, your own ID for the
customer, unique within your platform; use it to find the business again with
[List businesses](https://developers.lazyinvoice.co.il/embedded/api/businesses/list/).
